Sewing Revamping

In my workshop, college students will learn sewing techniques, so they can effectively revamp their clothing. Revamping clothing has many positive benefits such as mental, environmental, and fiscal, and through this class, students will gain knowledge on these benefits. During the first part of the semester, students will learn three sewing techniques each week, and for the second part of the semester, students will utilize the sewing techniques learned to create a final project to present at Arts Fest. An example of a possible final project could be sewing flowers onto an old hat to improve the fashion item. This entire course will be entirely online with weekly synchronous classes.
